PALHAM SOUNDSYSTEM @ Cucuma Festival 2011
Once a year, also the poplars wanna fidget!
Every year, near Gotha (Thuringia), there is a unique festival in a beautiful grove surrounded by cornfields. Cucuma – ‘Open Air – Unten Sie’! During these three days between culture and madness, visitors have the opportunity to think outside the own ‘musical-box’ and can enjoy different styles of music in a beautiful ambiance.
In diesem liebevoll erschaffen Kosmos aus Klängen und Lichtern, hatten wir die Ehre dieses Jahr unseren Beitrag zu leisten …
Die Nachmittagssonne steht am Himmelszelt. In der Nacht geschundene Körper werden auf Hängematten und Canapés auf das Kommende vorbereitet. Dumpf untermalt vom süssen Bass aus der Ferne. Manch einer lächelt. Vollkommene Glückseligkeit.
Der Tag entschwindet. Was bleibt ist die Hoffnung auf ein morgen. Kolorierten Leibern wird sanft neues Leben eingepflanzt. So schließt sich der Kreis.

MEHERCULES “I Not House”
Mehercules – leader of the muses
Actually at this point is meant the Mehercules-Blog, which is run by the two guys Marcel Mertel and Christoph Nicklas (alias Nicklas & Mertel) from Rheinland-Palatinate. Mainly here turns almost everything to Afro-American music, their roots, culture and influences.
Twice a month, these guys, who practice self-restraint, publish their radio show Greenbeats. The show, broadcasted by the online radio MyHouseYourHouse, always is a journey though the multifaceted styles of house music.
But how came the Hercules to the Baude?!
As is often the case, we met each pother on the Internet. As the deephouse community seems to be very clear, it’s easy to close contacts and share interests.
Due to the fact that we are always interested in different sounding music, we are glad to present this special and awesome set, mixed at one of the last Airbag warehouse sales.
With this in mind…
